WHAT’S ON AT MACALISTERS

We have 10 local food trucks that visit the brewery in a rotation, plus have many regular events such as Trivia nights, Music Bingo nights, live music and comedy shows. In addition to our core range of beers we have regular seasonal / special beers for you to try often paired to special menus by the food trucks. Sat 17th January. 4 Kegs only on tap from noon!!!
Sun 18th January. The "BIG MAC" alister burger!! Bev & Lee from the WHATEVER food truck have been working on a new burger just for us! The "Macalister" logo branded "BIG MAC" alister burger launches Sun 18th Jan from noon!!
Mon 26th January Australia Day. We are delighted to have Nicole Nighthawk playing live 3 to 6pm on Australia Day! We have also brewed a 4 keg special for the day! Open from noon with WHATEVER food truck on site all day!
Sat 31st Jan 7:30pm. Bingo but not like nana used to play! Loud & heaps of fun, with prizes to win. A great night out. Not for the faint hearted or easily offended!!, Loud, loose and a little brash!!! Heaps of adult fun!! No fee / booking but get in early for warm up beers, a feed, and a seat!! MA15+
Sat 21st Feb. For almost 30 years, RAW Comedy & The Melboure International Comedy Festival has been scouring the country for the next generation of Australian comedians, and heats for 2026 are happening now! Come along for a massive night of unique, original comedy, and your chance at an ‘I saw them before they were famous’ moment. Grab your tickets early, this one is well attended! Sat 21st March 8pm. COMEDY with JAY WYMARRA Aboriginal All Stars regular and Comedy Zone alumni brings a new hour squeezed fresh from North Queensland. Jay Wymarra is part Torres Strait Islander and part queer wizard, ripe with sparkling wit, juicy yarns and just enough tangy bite.(click picture for tickets)
Sun 26th April 7pm. AC/DC and Oz Anthems show by The Rock City Siants Let's rock North QLD!!!" The Rock City Saints are returning to Macalisters!! HIGH VOLTAGE" The AC/DC show double header with " OZ ROCK ANTHEMS" is a 100% Australian classic rock show (click picture for tickets)

Richard has a takeaway shop at Holloways Beach but does regular pop ups at the brewery. Fabulous Salt and Pepper Calamari, Chilli Prawns on rice plus curries!
