WHAT’S ON AT MACALISTERS
We have 10 local food trucks that visit the brewery in a rotation, plus have many regular events such as Trivia nights, Music Bingo nights, live music and comedy shows. In addition to our core range of beers we have regular seasonal / special beers for you to try often paired to special menus by the food trucks. WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK
- Wed 24th April: Bar open from noon, with THE FRYING DUTCHIES food truck starting at 4pm, plus its TRIVIA NIGHT as usual from 7:30pm with host CALEB DAY. No booking, no fee, prizes to win as well as good times to be had, and midweek beers!!
- Thurs 25th April: ANZAC DAY We can’t open until 1pm ANZAC DAY, but from then we’ll be pouring our delicious ANZAC BISCUIT ALE which features all the classic flavour of an ANZAC biscuit…..toasted oats, golden syrup, coconut and roast biscuit malt!! WHATEVER FOOD TRUCK on site all day!!!
- Fri 26th April: Bar open from noon to 10pm with SALT & PEPPER food truck from 4pm.
- Sat 27th April: Bar open from noon to 10pm. Noon to 6pm is KONINGSDAG. KONINGSDAG is “KING’s DAY” in the Netherlands and widely celebrated National Holiday. We have brewed a 4 keg batch of our delicious Dutch Lager this year and THE FRYING DUTCHIES will be doing some special delicious Dutch foods for you to feast on. Feel free to dress in orange!!!!! and then its MUSIC BINGO Beats drop from 7:30pm.
- Sun 28th April: Bar open from noon to 7pm with GREEK STREET FOOD INC on site all day.

- Sat 4th May: Lock the date in for the CAIRNS CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL There is a “MAY THE 4TH BEER WITH YOU” theme this year and you can be sure we’ll be brewing up some new brews for you to try!! More details soon!!!
- Mon 13th and Tues 14th May: PINT OF SCIENCE is back at Macalisters. Details and tickets at https://pintofscience.com.au/events/cairns. Doors open 6:30 with THE HUNGRY NOMAD food truck on site both days.
- Sunday 19th May: BIKE DAY OUT. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Charity motorcycle ride terminates at MACALISTER BREWING this year. Gates open at noon, with live music, bike show & shine with prizes (bikes only in the carpark). If you want to participate in the ride register at https://www.gentlemansride.com/ or just come down for a beer and check out the bikes.
- Sat 25th May: GUILT FREE COMEDY presents “2 FACED GRUBS” with MARC CORNAZ and RICHO. Tickets at eventbrite.com.au or via event on Macalister facebook page. Note this event was originally scheduled 20th April – If you had tickets the organisers will be emailing to advise of change of date / refund if you are unable to attend.
- Thurs 4th July: Comedian VANESSA LARRY MITCHELL returns with her hilarious “TEARDROPS ON MY DILDO SHOW” This show sold out last year so get in quick! Tickets available now at www.ticketebo.com.au or via event on Macalister facebook page
